Due to the handmade nature, every piece is unique and subtle differences are to be expected. Handmade pieces require more care.

 

Ceramics - handwashing is most recommended. Microwaving or putting them into the dishwasher may not be ideal. Pieces with crackle, light matte glazes or unglazed surface will inherently stain after prolonged use with strongly-stained foods and liquids, so washing them quickly after use is recommended.

Glass - rinse with water or wipe with a damp cloth.

Leather - for longevity, apply leather oil from time to time using a microfiber cloth. Do not come in contact with water.

Metalwork - Chilbo pieces are delicate. Avoid dropping or knocking them against hard surfaces. Clean gently with a soft, damp cloth and dry immediately. Do not soak in water or use strong detergents, bleach, or chemical cleaners.
