About the event
Rather than being observed from a distance, ceramic wares are made to be used, lifted, and held, revealing their presence through weight, texture, temperature, and the irregularities formed by hand.
Small Gestures: At the Table reflects the showcase’s focus on physical closeness, attention to small gestures, and the act of slowing down to notice what is often overlooked. A single dessert course, curated by Glasshouse and served on hand-built ceramic ware by @kiln_wanday, extends this attentiveness through flavour, texture, warmth, and pause.
